Come join us for a Willow Springs history Podcast presented by Ron Leffler on Saturday, October 5th in the Community Center at 11:00 am. Ron, a lifelong resident of our town, has tons of stories and he is looking for your stories too!

Cook County Sustainability Program

The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will analyze utility bills and provide information on how to spot unnecessary charges on natural gas, electric and phone bills. The CUB experts also cover energy efficiency programs and rebates and discuss ComEd’s new smart meters,“Peak Time Savings,” and “Hourly Pricing” programs that could save you money.

*Registration is required for this event.  Please call  708 839-3027 to register by October 7 for your free, one-on-one consultation with a CUB expert, who will search for ways to lower utility costs. You should bring your gas, electric and phone bills.

Cook County Sustainability Program

The Cook County Department of Environment and Sustainability is hosting a presentation on ways to save money and energy with your smart meter, home weatherization and energy efficiency programs. Experts will discuss rebated and free in-home devices and appliances. You can receive a free energy-efficient light bulb, plus you could win a Nest smart thermostat simply by attending!
